man i wish i was kidding but ive tryed it my self but it didnt work and i cant find a tutorial on the internet

Well... I don't know much, but I do know putting the disk into your disk drive doesn't work...

In order to mod the xbox version of Halo, you must:
1- have access to your xbox HDD via ftp.
2- have a copy of halo that you can launch from your xbox HDD.
Go to
www.xbox-scene.com and post there if you don't know how to do this.
If you meet these two requirements, you can go into your xbox's HDD and grab the maps. You will need tools such as HHT, HMT, or SparkEdit, which you can find in the utilities forum. Once you have the maps and tools, post here, and tell us what you want to modify.
It is possible to place your halo dick into your CD drive and get the maps, but your drive needs the ability to read DVDs. You need a program that can decrypt the DVD-style encoding that xbox uses.

For H1 on the xbox platform? Please point me in the direction of your tutorial for this. I'd like to see them.

if u want 2 mod halo withought ftp there is hope
ok rip h1 to ur xbox hdd using unleach x or whatevr dash u have
then go on ur reg cpu and burn a disk put a regular non xbox iso ... dvd iso psp iso or ps2 iso ethier or will work then put a folder named files on your disk and put the maps you want in them so now you shoud have this on your disk
sample.iso
files
i burn using sonic record now
now burn and put in xbox it should pop up file explorer
now take take the maps and replace them with the maps in the halo folder
and now run halo from your hdd have fun withought ftp ing.... because thats the way i do it
