Compressing nightwinderv4 ideas????

Has anybody managed to compress my nightwinderv4 yet have tried the usual sparkedit (wont open because i had to use the flamethrower bitmap for the nighttime effect)
Tried halo map item editor but got a dirty disc error when i tried to play it)
It may be the files to large now with all the stuff ive added will have to play about to get it to work

Did you follow my post and use the map resizer after HME? if it's over 23 megs then it's too big.

Can I make a suggestion... I have thought about this for a while but can not figure out how to do this. OK your problem is a good example of what I have been trying to figure out. Halo directs the cache files to go in either X, Y, or Z ok. Now is it possible to have halo cache itself in, humm... lets say F:\Games\Halo\ "X,Y, or Z" something to that effect so that if your file is bigger than normal it has no problem with file size. Also if this is done SP could be converted to MP maps. As we all know SP Maps are much bigger in file size. So this is just a thought of mine and I figured I would share it with you guys.

Does it usually take a while to compress maps? I'm trying to compress a map for Halo NMP but it sure seems like its taking a lont time...
