How can i have more than one map patched on my xbox HDD? PLEASE HELP!!! maps don't load when i multi-patch file 3.

If your like me you probably have four or five good bloodgulch mods that you like and play often, but it is so annoying to have to reset the xbox every time you want to play a different one. Some people would also like to keep bloodgulch unmodded and use another map. This tutorial teaches you how to replace the map that you don't like or would never mod with multiple bloodgulchs or other maps


1. Take cache003.map and mod it with whatever you want
2. Open Sparkedit
3. Open your map file
4. Hit file and Save as compressed
5. Now Save the file as the name of a map you don't want like ratrace.map
6. It will compress, now your done with Sparkedit
7. Now use your favorite hex editor (Ultraedit 32) to open your new compressed map
8. On the third line on the right you will see the name bloodgulch
9. Replace this name with ratrace
10. save and close
11. Now you can use Zip10c's tutorial to make a map CD or you can just backup the game on your xbox hardrive again and replace the map file ratrace.map with your new map file.
12. Your done!!!!

I have four bloodgulch mods, two sidewinder mods, a hangemhigh, a boarding action, a battlecreak mod all in the same game without resetting!!!
