ok im gonna get flamed sooo bad for this but i dont care. where on this website (if possible) can i download maps n hogs n stuff that other people have made b/c if i tried this somethin would go wrong n id end up blowing up my house. also if this is possible when i get them what do i do with them.
ps i looked in the tuts n stuff but thats all jibberish to me.
pps i do have my xbox modded with evox n i have a basic knowledge of the xbox n running programs n stuff like that.

go to the files tab from the main halomods page... from there find a mod for xbox ntsc (i assume thats what you have) and download it.
It will contain a ppf file. Now, follow this tutorial: (im not claiming credit for this)
Applying PPF Patches by SourceGuy
Here's a simple yet usefull tutorial on how to apply PPF patches.
Before you start reading this tutorial you should get PPF-O-Matic from our downloads section.

First, get a fresh cache file from your xbox, by deleting all cache files, then restarting halo and playing the level the patch is for.
Transfer the cache file (on your x, y, or z drive) (cache003.map) to your PC. Open up PPF-O-Matic. As ISO, choose your cache003.map file. In the other box select your PPF Patch.
Now click "patch". The patch has now been applied. Load cache003.map back to your xbox, overwriting the old one. Open the map the patch was for and have some fun!
