I purchased 2 Xecuter 2.3B Lite chips from www.system-modz.com (also known as www.the-console-corner.com). They only sent me 1!! I thought no big deal, I'll send them an email and let them know. I did, and they replied the same day, telling me to fax them a copy of the packing receipt. One small problem, they didn't send me a packing receipt. The only thing in the envelope was one xecuter chip in a little foam insert--no second chip and no packing receipt. I let them know, and they replied fairly quickly, telling me that they never forget to include a packing receipt. For the next week or so they ingored my emails.

Then in good faith I ordered a chip programmer from them. They might see that I was still supporting their site and be inclined to send me the other chip I paid for. I got emails regarding that order, but they continued to ignore my emails about my second mod chip. So I got onto their website and lodged a complaint on their "contact" page. I got a reply a few days after that. They said they would get back to me that day with a solution. Hmmmm. It's been a week since then, and no reply.

So I decided to post a complaint on their website that everyone could see. I wrote a review of the Xecuter chip at their site. I gave a 1 out of 5 stars, and wrote the following:
"I paid for two Xecuter 2.3B Lite chips, but they only sent me one. Now they refuse to respond to my emails. Do not support this webiste!"

That stayed on their website for a few days, until they realized it was there. Then they changed my review to 5 out of 5 stars, and changed my words!!! MY review now says:
"I purchased two Xecuter Lite's, they arrived quickly & worked perfectly. I highly recommend this website!"

Isn't that illegal to change my words and say I wrote it? Anybody familiar with the laws on that? Also, how am I supposed to get my money back or get my other chip? They continue to ignore me, no matter how many times I email them.

www.system-modz.com is the same company as www.the-console-corner.com. I bought from system-modz and emailed them, and the replies come from the-console-corner. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE WEBSITES! This company is dishonest and irresponsible. Do not support them!

Damn dude that's fucked up. I don't know what to tell ya...

By the way, here is the link to my so called review that they so kindly "reworded". It's kinda funny, but at the same time, does anyone know if I should sue for this?

well, seeing that you purchased them online, im guessing you used a credit card? did you happen to use the one linked to your bank, like your debit card that is backed by visa, well if so you are in alot of luck, goto your bank with a receipt from the website(print off the invoice) and file a claim, they will then give the website 30days to respond, if it goes in your favor you will get your money back, simple as that
if you used paypal: file a claim with them, you must do it within 30 days of purchase
if you used a regular credit card: call them up and asked to get your money back from the company, called stop payment i think

now if you used a money order you might be sol, call or email the BBB(better business bureau)

things you can hint to the site to scare them shitless:
mention that they used "theft by deception" or that they are guilty of "mail fraud" the post office will love to take care of them or the bank will

all in all you should be able to get your money back, post here with results

currently im working to get some money back from amazon.com! damn those deceitful sellers! he only wanted to give me 110 refund when i paid 130 for the xbox, he never shipped it or anything, so amazon is taking care of me

glad you pointed that out because i was just about to post something long and not nice because system-mods.com is extremely legit and wouldnty do some shit like that. i can vouch for them becasue i know most of them and Lan with them frequently..

Ya, system-modZ.com is the same company as the-console-corner.com, I don't mean for anyone to confuse them with system-modS.com. And yes, that is deceitful.
