Anyone else noticed the lack of recognition for xbox modders lately. For instance there are no xbox mods in the contest, xbox mods don't seem to be making it to the front page or "outstanding mods" sections lately. And there are no excuses because there have been some really nice xbox mods released lately, just look at the work Pokecancer has done lately(without perfect injecting tools). And there's plenty of xbox mods out that are way more outstanding than some of the recent PC entries. I love this site, so its discouraging when people that deserve recognition aren't getting it. We all know that PC is easier to mod. But since xbox modders have to work harder to create their master pieces they need recognition to keep them motivated. I know I'm just bitching, but I wouldn't waste my time writing this post if I didn't feel pretty strongly about it.

you know i was gonna make a post like this but i didnt get around to it .... but i agree all the way ..hehe im still workin on a ninja gaiden mod......

For instance look at the front page right now. Who cares about "Reentry Lifepod on a SP conversion" made with HMT3.5 perfect injection ability, when practically everyday we have perfect hunters, grunts, elites, banshees, pelicans etc. being made by hand for xbox. Thats my perspective.

Someone should make a really amazing mod which hasnt been done on PC or xbox, then release it on xbox first then 2 days later on PC, and see which gets on the front page.

I have to agree with streaker as it seems that the people out there keepin up with the pc bunch with some fantastic mods on xbox are simply ignored and left out from all the sites running competitions it's hardley balanced at all.
If the mods are comming in so fast which they seem to be then why not have an xbox and a pc catagoury to put them in, i mean we have the mods listed seperatly then why not the competition entrys right.
The way things are going the boards are going to be swamped with pc stuff which (already been said) is so much easier to mod for.
It takes weeks to fine tune a mod and post it for xbox but they keep on comming and are seriously sweet stuff.
Look all this rant is for is recognition each to there own and all that thanks.

I totally agree. We don't even need prizes for an xbox mod competition. Just some good old fashion recognition and a pat on the back. Just give the modders something to look foward to for all their hard work and devotion to the community.

I have to agree with MrMurder and streaker as it seems wrong that we download the files from seperate listings ie xbox or pc but they are all thrown together to be considered for the comp?I guess you dont have to shell out prizes for both just as has been said a bit of recognition.
Its so much harder to mod for xbox so much is trial and error, but for pc its just add add add then click map rebuild whoopy frickin do so just spare a little more time sortin out this lack of respect for those outstanding mods for xbox alot goes into them and the results in my opinon are far superior.

The sun shines and im amazed we live to see another day.
