can you put stuff outside of the map(below it,around it,above it) and just put a teleport to it?
or does it just make you fall to your death?

You can put anything anywheres in the map as long as its not outside the dome and warp to it. I'm not sure about things underground, you can try putting xoranges platforms underground and moving the warp point under the level and test it, but otherwise you can warp to things in the sky and such.

If you put them too far intersecting the BSP they Simply won't show in the game. I made a mod with a base in middle of blood gulch and had platforms keep disappearing on me. I played with a few times moving the platforms more out of the BSP and finally showed up in game. So I am not quite sure you will be able to use that. All else I can say , is try and see what happens and post your findings.

Yes, I've found this in my b40_a conversion (even though its PC version), there is a limit, scenery etc won't show, however teleporter points will still work, so u can arrive out there, but u will fall to your death lol. It will take some tweaking to find the exact point the limit is reached so that you get the most space possible, at least in my case anyways :D

I would imagine its the same case with Xbox

Ya, I was actually thinking of doin somethin like that for bg. Like make a submap underneath it and then teleport to it. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

I tried this too. I made a teleport to a platform underground. When I went through the teleporter, I was teleported but the platform was not there. So you won't be able to build anything under BG. Too bad though. It was a good idea. 8)
