Well i am using milkshape and i love it, you just have to know how to model with milkshape. And yeah if your having trouble when you select a vertex it is better to click off "igonre backfaces" without quotes wich hepled me tremendously lol. well i hate 3ds thingy it was so complicated but i havent used it in like months and now i have a litle more knowledge lol. well i hope that hepled.

1.ok when Exporting your models from HMT 3 put .obj on the end of the file name

2. In MS3D go to file inport, Wavefront OBJ

3.go to this URL http://www.milkshape3d.com/ and read from Preparation
to Vertices and Faces, this should help get to know the tools and buttons

4. your on your way to modeling
