Mysterious Conversion App

I hear an app was wrongfully released, and now it might not ever be released. A CE to XBOX Conversion utility you say? In my mind this might bring a complete revival in Halo 1 modifications. Does anybody know if Sir Hizlo is going to ever release this app? This could cause a big spark in modding.

YEs, I have heard this too. I also believe halo maps v2 is coming out soon

Id love a conversion utility. Any idea's if he's gonna release..well..re-release it?

He never released it. Someone hacked his computer and got it. So if he releases it. It will be a plain out release. No rerelease.

only thing is..if an app like that is released, the HALO 1 modding scene will be ruined with a bunch of crappy 2 minute conversion map packs.

Not exactly, any map that is converted can't be considered crappy because of the work behind it.
Also, it takes a very long time and lots of effort to get the maps to play correctly, I would know from expirience, I had to make a new version of my map just to get it converted properly.
Also, the original one was leaked (just "Magic"), and I've also heard that one that wasn't even given to converters got out some how (Magic 2). And I have confirmed reports that Hizlo has a personal version that is secretly protected in all sorts of ways called "Hizlo's Magic". (yes, it is a different one).
Hizlo's Magic is supposedly perfect, there are many bugs with the first one, though. Magic 2 and Hizlo's Magic are probably the same thing, but I don't bother trying to find out stuff like that, I have someone else doing the converting, somone legit.
The real question I have for Hizlo is if he'll give us (as in Project Delphi) his newest version so that we can get the maps onto the Xbox correctly (especially the UI...)
