I was kinda wondering .. is there a mod wich allows me to shoot plasma grenades with a shotgun ? I tried to make one but I could't find the correct values for the shotgun bullets ..

I tried to find one in the download section here ... but I could find it .
Anyway can anyone make a mod like that ? Or show me how to ?

Do you know how to use a Hex Editor?

If so then you could try making it yourself

Well I don't really know how to use em ...
I mean I can open a file with em , but I don't know how to edit em ..
My last bloodgulch edit didn't really work .

I got this "exception data" error .
But I'm pretty much sure that it wouldn't have allowed shotguns to fire plasma grenades anyway :p .
But if anyone could tell wich value I have to change into what I could do it ...

Coz right now ... I suck at hex-editing ...

I did that ! I changed to value of the shotgun pellet to the plasma grenade.
And bloodgulch loaded exactly how it's supposed to ! I can pick up a shotgun ... but when I shoot with it : Gathering exception data ...

Any suggestions ?

There is a far easier way to do it, which doesnt require any skill.
Just use the weapon editor to change to shotguns projectile to plasma grenades and then apply the bouncy grenades patch. Worked for me. :-p

yes, but that tool is only usable for xbox

and yes the bouncy nade in a weapon are sweet... :)

and neither way requires skill if u ask me.. its just one offsets

All i wanna do is replace the offset to a banshees, any help?

The Silent Cartographer, thing is, i could do it if HHD was easier to use.
I want a different hex editor where you can easily search for the offset and replace, and reccomendations?

I have'nt even made any mods before but my modchip is coming and from all the loads of tutorials and step by step instructions I've been reading over the year. I feel that hex editor is going to be easier. Atleast thats what I'm going to try first then when I'm good with that I'll try those tools. :?

Wow
