for ading scenery, dont have a clue. for music, there might be a way to edit the existing background BG sounds, but thats a wild guess. Rain and snow and fog are all triggers, and there not possible in MP levels (ya ya... i no about sidewinder, but thats because BUNGIE made it that way. WE dont know how yet.) Wait for HEK then rain, scenery, music and loads of other stuff will be possible. (i just hope that HEK supports the box version aswell as pc)

You can import some scenery (things without models) with HHT which will fix reflexives and some dependancies. With models is harder. Sounds can be done with HMTv2.5 easiest (dont think v3 works as well) and fog can be done with HMT on all(?) levels and definitely on BG. Rain can be done but is slightly harder and may cause lag.

Wait, Can't you do this by rebuilding a map with HMT?

I think people are missing the fact that there in one of the halo xbox modding sections because I don't think that HEK is going to be compatable with halo xbox but I guess if we see what HEK changes in PC we could use that kind of tactic on xbox but thats assuming alot. Also you can't simply map rebuild halo xbox because HMT is not set up to do xbox map rebuilding, only halo PC map rebuilding. Other wise if your saying fixing all the reflexive of an object you imported from a different level is simple. :?

dude you just save the meta recursive in HMtv3 for the coll model then do the same with the real model then you insert them into whatever map and rebuild then open up SE and import tag and then put them where ever yo want thats all.

Alot of you guys talk about things you dont know anything about and say really stupid stuff. Dont think that having alot of posts make you "expeirenced" because it doesn't. I spend all my time modding halo and only a little bit actually on the forums. We are getting alot of stupid noobs lately.

At one time I'm pretty sure you were a noob, if it bothers you so much and you know everything, why even come back here?? All I know is that what I have learned so far is knowledge that I will enjoy sharing with my friends and any others that would ask me for help or insight on modding Halo.

thanks for the little hints. i follow most of your steps except when you say "insert them into whatever map and rebuild" are you using the insert meta option and then using the rebuild function of HMT?

all i have wanted to do is insert the metal panel into hang'em high or sidewinder... then i can edit and make new bases .

thanks,
systek

About the rain...Cluis has gotten rain into Blood Gulch. To make it foggy in BG, export the sky meta of 343 GS and import it into BG. Then edit the fog color and thickness in HCE.

Pokecancer released his tutorial on injecting perfect models from other levels, read it carefully and you'll know how.
