Halo 1 Xbox and HMT

Okay I want to export models form Halo 1 XBOX. I have my Xbox files onto the PC and installed HMT (And .net framework), When I try to open a map I get the error 'File not loaded.'
Do I need to mess with the map files before opening them with HMT? What am I forgetting?

I dont think halo xbox maps can be edited by HMT, only the Halo PC ones.

Alright. I also have ADI and DotHalo. All of which give me an error when I attempt to open the map files. Do I need to adjust the files before opening?

HMT 3.5, Dothalo can both open halo 1 xbox maps. I personally just tested it and it worked. Remember though that you have to uncompress your maps befoer you open them in HMT (DotHalo automatically decompresses) and when your done editing you have to recompress (Dothalo also automatically does that, you will need spark edit if you dont want to use dothalo.

Halo Sound Tools I beleive it was, before it got converted to Halo Map Tools.

Alright, then how do I decompress so I can use HMT?

It also gives me an error; so to troubleshoot I would like to try to decompress and use HMT.
