Adding new maps to map selection

I was wondering, how I would add new maps to the map selection screen, without replacing other maps? Does this have anything to do with the ui.map file?

I'm using Halo Xbox

no i dont think it has anythin to do with tat all i think u need is the new map plus new bitmap plus the sound map i thnk

What would I do with them to make the map playable from the level select screen?

well i think u post all the new maps into ur map folder in halo
which would be somehtin like this
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\maps

Are you talking about Halo PC? I was referring to Halo Xbox. Sorry about that.
