what you need to FTP without a modchip

uh...yeah..i need help on that....FTPing...
I was talking to SexyDiaper on AIM and he told me that i needed Action Replay so i could install Evolution X.But in that case, to boot up EvoX, i need Mechassualt...which he says i can just go rent
.So will this actually allow me to have EvolutionX?which allows me to then FTP to my xbox...RiGhT?i hope it's true...someone make a post saying if this is True/Vrai or False/Faux
