New to halo editing

I was wondering how I can install the .rar's that I have d/l from here. I would love to play them, but am unsure. I set up an ftp and put them in my maps folder, but obviously, it didn't do the trick. Also, one more question, how do I set up low gravity? Thanks.

Read The Stickies. Also read tutorials before asking questions, the questions you have asked have been asked many times. .rar files are like a .zip you need winrar to uncompress it.
