My friend wants to send me some files through ftp to my xbox. SO what i did was set up my xbox so that i am directly connected to my my modem, then i restarted my xbox to get the new ip and then i sent him my ip. now if he wanted to send me files to my xbox through ftp, wouldnt he just have to open up the ftp program and ftp to my xbox with the ip address i gave him?
*EDIT* what about sending the files directly to my computer, i want to do this, but i dont know what info to give him. I think i need to give him my username, password, and ip address, but i dont know what they are?
