Charging sounds?

I'm trying to build a railgun out of the sniper rifle, some of you may remember the one from my old AWM mods (if anyone remembers) but in order to release v3 i need some help. I'm trying to add a delay between when you pull the trigger and when the weapon fires, but I want it to play the sount when it "starts" any Ideas? will my first idea would be to record it and inject it so that the sound is already made with a delay...

well the sound already has a delay, I need to figure out how to get the weapon itself to delay the shot

well is there anyway to jet tell it to "charge" like the hunter fuel rod, but do it by itself so it's like: pull trigger, sound plays, (with timing on my part)gun fires when sound is 1.3 of the way through. It doesn't really need new animations...

Why not use the Plasma Pistol weapon meta but change the coll and mode tags to the sniper rifle.

that would work, but I'd have to rely on the user letting it fire at the exactly right time each time. Listen to the sound and you'll see
