I've been looking over the topic for awhile now. I've read the CE extract tut, and now that one of the features of hht5 was to convert CE Content on the fly, I have tried simply recursive extracing the meta. When I do this, the program crashes. I have a strong feeling I am going about this the wrong way. I was wondering what is the correct way to go about this. I would also like to know how I can take a CE tag and convert that into a meta type I can inject like pokecancer did with the goliath tags. I have a few things I have been creating with the HEK(levels, weapons, vehis) and would like to bring them into xbox. Not to mention the fact of hoping to use this format somehow for importation into Halo2.
I know this might be an easier thing to say than it is to do, but if anyone can at least give a basic layout on how this can be acheived, I think this could be beneficial for all.
thx,

Asking for good explanation of exporting CE items into xbox
Ok, I found a lil bit from xorange about it, but I seem to be running into a bit of difficulty...
this is the link which i am referring to..

I went through to change the hex so i can open inside hht5. That went through w/o a problem. However when i open the original bloodgulch just to test the meta extraction on the assult rifle, I get an error and hht crashes. It will do the same thing inside HMT as well. If anyone knwos a workaround to this I would apreciate some help.

that topic is old! I think you just save the meta from a ce map and inject it into the xbox map

Ok, last night(before I read this) I finally figured out that, yea, it was the bitmaps path. Ok, I just tried a simple hogturret recursive injection into a virgin bloodgulch. I was able to extract the meta, inject it into the new map. I could also place it into the map, have it visible, etc. But, when I wnet into game, no turrets.. even tho they showed up inside sparkedit, it wouldn't show up in-game. I am going to search on this to see if anyone else has this problem.
