Is there a way to take away the gun model so that u cant see it in first person but if some1 else is holding it, u can see it?

Yes open up the map in HHT and go to the weapon tag towards the bottom, expand it. You will see all of the weapons go to whatever weapon you are trying to change then highlight it, a list of dependencies will show up on the box on the right. You should see two mode (model) tags in the dependencies, click on the one that has the fp (example assault rifle/fp or whatever) on it and swap its dependency to nulled out with the drop down button. I haven't messed with this in a while so I am going off memory and I can't check it right now but that should work, hope this helped, Later!

i tried what u said and it froze the map. is there something else i have 2 do? thanks

You could try nulling out the antr for it too, or maybe changing it to a flamethrower fp would work, I really couldn't tell you right now because I don't have access to my box right now and I haven't tried that in a while but I have done it before, you haven't swapped or changed anything in HMT before you did this because that will lock the game up?

well, the only thing i changed was the hud for the pistol. but ill try that thanks

If you null the hud out under the weapon tag that should get rid of it, or is that what froze it?

what i did with the HUD is remove the ammo, grenade, healh and shield. i didnt know how to get rid of the crosshair. do u know what i have 2 null out?

Try nulling out the whpi I think is what its called under the weapon tag.
