HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I modded my xbox with one goal in mind...to cheat at Halo. Not to pirate games, not to make custom maps, just want to play the Halo trainer.

I've already purchased and successfully installed a DUO X II mod chip in my V1.6. And after hours of searching online, reading tutorials, and spouting random profanities in the direction of my xbox console...I've installed the latest version of EvoX Dash (Sept. Release). I've copied Halo to my hard drive. I've located a few trainer files and downloaded them.

Now the problem...

I've tried patching the default.xbe file with one that was 'supposed' to enable the trainer, only to hear 'Not a Valid XBE File'. I've also found some other trainer files, but I don't recognize the extensions, so I have no idea where to put them or what to do with them.

This is getting very frustrating...I've spent all my free time this week trying to figure this out. I know this can be done, all I need is directions! Please Help!!!

this is the exact same shit that happend to mee last year... ALL I WANTED WAS TO PLAY WITH THE TRAINER!!!! it all ended with the sudden denise of my xbox... it died because the hard drive was full and it wouldnt boot!

make sure ur using IPSwin and the CZN HALO TRAINER PATCH its the only good one... google boyh... patch... ftp and hope it works... my alternative to copying the WHOLE HALO GAME to ur xbox is just copy the patched Default.xbe (you can get it online so u dont have to patch it urself) to ur evox Games folder so it will display it in the apps list. put in ur halo cd and launch the xbe from the list... the xbe is patched so ul have the cheats, and it will see the disk and play from IT so u dont need to use up all ur HDD space... hope it works because it almost did with me.
