HHT4 errors x_x
I can usually save recursively fine, but when it comes to injecting i get some error message and i've never been able to inject anything so far. Any suggestions?

I use to get a error injecting all the time, for some reason when I didn't have something highlighted in the tags before I hit inject it would give an error. Now I just make sure I always highlight that top tag then hit inject and I haven't had a problem since then. Hope this works for you, its simple I know but I was having the same problem.

if youre trying to inject a meta tag recursively while it has a bunch of dependecies then that might be the problem....ive noticed the same error....alls i do is inject everything with hht4 manually....works perfectly fine when i do that....for instance....if i was trying to inject a veh tag i would inject all the btm, the proj, the effect ...blargh blargh....one by one...and then inject the vehicle tag afterwards.....i dont know why but this is the only way that it works for me......cLuis is commin out with hht5 soon hopefully so this will all just be another bad dream.....thanx for all your hrd work dude....props to cLuis, everybody...
=edit= first youd have to save the meta recursively in order to get all the necessary dependencies (inlcuding bitmps, models n such)

i believe that if you meta swapped some offsets it can mess it up. try linking vehicles and scenery directly from the scenario by changing the scenario's dependencies. for instance, if you swap the boulder with a piece of new scenery, it will show up in se and in game and you won't have to meta swap. the map file is more maintainable this this way too.
HHT v.4 - Application Error
This error wont even let me open the program. What can I do?

Sure you have the .NET framework?Tat2ed wrote:This error wont even let me open the program. What can I do?
Tried it, didn't work.Stinger77s wrote:I use to get a error injecting all the time, for some reason when I didn't have something highlighted in the tags before I hit inject it would give an error. Heres a tad bit of info.XxBAOxX wrote:well....maybe there's a little "whats new in hht5" somewheres we dont know about yet.....ive only heard bits and peices of what other people say cLuis is doin to the genie in a bottle program (hht5)...i wanna use it already...lol
So far all this works
-Rebuilding, Yes you heard right, Rebuilding XBOX maps is now possible
-FASTER Recursive Injection (About 100000x Faster)
-Progress Bar on Injections and Rebuilds
-Improved Sound Injection and Extraction (wierd crackilng noises with hog and tank are fixed)
-Drag recursively saved meta onto the tag list from Explorer and HHT will recursive inject it
-Way better than before!
Heres a rebuilt map so all u ppl know im not bullshiting and a pic of the progress bar. It took 3:53 mins to rebuild this map that im giving u ppl, hmm now think about it, a map with 1752 tags takes 3:53 mins, how long would a weapon or vehicle tag? MERE SECONDS! THATS THE ANSWER!
(on a P4 2.7 ghz, 512 mb DDR ram)
Heres a picture of the progress bar that goes along with this rebuilt map

This map has the following modifications
-Banshee, Rocket Hog, and Plasma Cannon added
-Scorpion, Ghost, Flamethrower, and Grav Rifle removed
