I don't think playing your xbox through your computer is possible. Another question. Why?

If you are talking about recording videos from the xbox to make halo videos and edit them on your computer and save them so others can see them you need a capture device. Search google for one or look through a electronics online store.

well i saw this thing at wal-mart but i did not see the price or name but it alows u to hook up red white and yellow cables up to this adaptor that then attched to your computer. and it says you can plug any thing that has that plug, like xbox, into it. i wanted to buy it but the stupid casheer did not no how to use the cash register so i chould not find da price but owell.

ok most likly on ur dell the svideo is a output plug so u can use ur comp on a tv. so no it wont work that way. Look for some products made by Dazzle, they make adapters that go from rca (red yellow and white) into usb so u can do exactly what u are talking about. the prices range from like 30 on up to a couple hundred. To actually capture it once u plug it in u can see it on ur monitor at this point u can use somthing like fraps or another video capturing program to make demos of u playing on xbox. Using one of these devices are also used for recording movies, tv shows, etc on ur computer to save and also if u do not have a digital video camera with a usb adapter u can use this to save your home videos on your comp as well so one doesnt have to throw away their old video camera and spend 350+ on a new one. Besides Dazzle there are a bunch of other companies that make them but dazzle gives u video capturing programs with their products, the more expensive the better the program. You also can get pci cards similar to this to go into your computer just like any other pci accessory like a network card. Hope that helps.

ok im having trouble i want sentinels in hang em high, i go through the hht4 tutorial and everything works out dandy, but i get the dirty disk error when i try to load the map, what gives?

hmm if you followed the tut correctly then it should have worked, try it again and see what happends. I know its not much help but maybe it will work...

The map that your FTP'in to your PC: is it a fresh non-modded map?

it was pulled off the cd, put onto the xbox hd, and then ftped over to my pc, thats all thats happened to it, i tried to inject the sentinel biped from c40 into a fresh hang em high map.

I'd just try it a few times. HHT 4 is a little testy but usually works.

It actually sounds like you ftp'd the map back before HHT was done. I did that and it gave me a Network Error (even though I was just in multiplayer).

HHT can take a LONG LONG time to finish, sometimes hours if you're injecting something complicated like a character. Make sure that a popup box appears saying "Recursive Injection Complete" before closing the map and putting it on your xbox.

I injected the shotgun into halo, (the level) but when I run it, there's a huge blob of gray crap that fills the whole screen, then it just freezes. WTF?

Sounds like the model or antr didn't get injected right.

I think you need to delete your copy of HHT 4 and download the latest version. Someone else had this problem until he downloaded it again.

It was me (wooden dragon) anyway, I've given up on SP injection, I've injected things easily into MP, so I guess us SP'ers will have to wait more
