I went to PAX yesterday and found out some interesting information... I was really bored so I started to look at the saved games on theier xboxes and I found a halo 2 save! Imediately I tried to find someone w/ a mem card to copy it, but found out that there was no option in the M$ dash to copy the H2 save.... sux. What really surprised me was the 2 files that were in the save; one was the default player save, the other was a mapfile!!! After being angry at them for not making it easier to copy i realized how secure an idea it was. If sum 1 stole the disc it had no map or profile to load, and if a person copied the save, they would have no way to play it. i still wanted to try to get it though....

later!

Goes to point out the newbs on the forum, and I'm not talking about TOABN I'm talking about UUC, Evilpoo especially drunkenpriest. It is very easy to manipulate a Halo 2 save.

Why are you calling me a newb just because I dont post here much doesnt make me a newb. Ive been here longer than you. When did you join? Umm... Today

For one thing halo 2 beta is not on a disc its all stored on the HD of the xboxs, If they had discs people could easily walk out with one, which I know MS/Bungie would not like. Copying of the saved games were most likely disabled too because of security reasons.

Bah. I did not mean to include you. You are right. It was my mistake you weren't saying he is a lying or anything. I guess I saw something else. Sure I did just join but that doesn't make me new to programming or anything. I've been doing such since 2000 and I know what I'm talking about. Again my bad about mentioning you.

Its aight. I dont think your a newb, I dont call people newbs I think its just stupid, unless they do something thats is just so idiotic. Like when people ask question and are lazy and dont try to research things before they ask questions, thats a newb.

I called them newbs because they obviously have no knowledge about it. As its completly easy to manipulate a Halo 2 save.
