In game reset.. I want to know if this is supposed to just reset the game or go to the dashboard? If it only resets the game, then is there a way to just go to the dashboard w/o haveing to open the disktray, take out the game, turn of box and then turn it back on?

IGR should take you back to the dashboard unless you are booting from the DVD. In which case, when the Xbox reboots, it will load from the DVD before the HDD.
