Or you could open the weapon in HMT 3.5 and it has settings for auto aim and such. IT DOSEN"T WORK ONLINE, DON"T EVEN TRY

There is an auto aim in sp, it just moves the aimmer a little. it's really annoying to try an snipe one elite in a group of 5 grunts, that are all walking around, the aimmer moves to fallow the grunts so you can't get a good shot in.

I just tested it out again, and it's a sticky effect, not an auto aim. i did it by
looking at a target and than looking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth really fast and as it goes by them it slows down a little. sorry about the bad information.

edit: oh, and this was in the snipers 10x zoom, I don't think it does it with out zooming.

Right, it only does sticky aim when zoomed (on the sniper rifle; different on other weapons, and to different degees) Look in the HEK tags for the weapons for hints on where to change the weap meta data for sticky aim.

There is no true auto aim though. There is a setting for a homing projectile however; look into it with HMT.
