making halo swich from modded to not modded (NMP)

This is what I would like to have done with halo:

1st. I want to make my own halo NMP 1.1, and to do so I would have to know how they made it so you can switch back and forth from normal to NMP.

2nd. I want to make all the maps with no powerups and no rockets, this will make it so I can switch back and forth from normal to no power ups, just like halo NMP.

This is what I did: I made all my maps with no powerups and compressed them, then I replaced all the halo NMP maps with the maps I made, I also changed the pictures in the NMP ui.map too normal map pictures so that why I would know what map I
