Xecuter 2.3b Pro or Xecuter 3? Or something else?

Post by Axel »

Well, I'm still very new to this whole thing, but I spoke with someone who explained to me a bit about modchips and whatnot, and he told me that Xecuter 2.3b Pro is a good chip, so I started looking in that direction. I stumbled onto a site that sold it for about 25 bucks, and I saw that they actually have an Xecuter 3 chip out for about 50 bucks.

I was wondering if anyone knows the difference and could tell me if it's worth the extra 25 or not. Thanks.

well, i know nothing about the xecuter 3 chip. Well, i dont know that much about xecuters in general. I know that the 2.3b will do anything u need it to. i know plenty of ppl that have it and love it. I, personally, have the xbit chip. I like that too. I think that for just basic, or advanced, use that the 2.3b will suffice. But, then again, i know nothing about the 3.
Well mother, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Your life on the other hand is like a box of active grenades!

Xecutor Pro 2.3B .... or just wait for Xecutor 3. It doesn't really matter. People say that X3 is gonna be sooooo much better than X2, but I haven't found any significant improvements between the two. Just be sure you know how to solder (soldering isn't for kids, so let your daddy help)

I haven't had ONE SINGLE problem with my Xecutor Pro 2.3B, so that is my choice.

Heh, I was clueless to soldering until someone explained it to me. I'm still a little worried that I'm gonna screw something up but chips usually come with instructions, right?

not really, i don't think so. My Xecutor 2.3B Pro didn't come with instructions. I just found some instructions on the internet. http://www.xbox-scene.com is probably the best site to go to for installation instructions.
