How do you put the mods onto your xbox

There's tutorials for this everywhere on the net, but here it is short and sweet.
1) Erase X, Y, or Z (the ones where you have cache*.map files at)
2) Load the map you are going to patch (play it for a second)
3) Transfer cache003.map to your computer HD.
4) Use PPF-O-Matic and patch the cache003.map with the .ppf mod file
5) Overwrite cache003.map on your XBox and you're done.

It won't always be cache003.map, but it could also be cache004.map or cache005.map.

If you don't know which cache is the correct map, then open it up with winHex or the program you are using to edit it, then you can tell.

Find out what your xboxes IP address is. Make sure that you have it hooked up to a router which should also be connected to your computer. Then go to internet explorer, and type in 192.168.blank.blank. (Mine is 192.168.2.23)
If you have Evox, you need to type in ftp:\\xbox:xbox@192.168.blank.blank

I am not sure for any other dashboard.

Thats another form of archiving files or compressing them to a smaller size so they can be transferred as a group or just smaller in size. RAR is another form of ZIP and it is basically the same thing but you need a program called WinRar in order to open them. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

It will be if you deleted all your cache files first & if you are patching a multiplayer map.

Install winrar, right click the .rar file and hit extract.

ok, go to www.xbox-scene.com

you will need a modchip - u can get one there
u will need to install and put a bios on the modchip - check the tutorials sect.
u will need to put a cracked Dashboard on ur xbox, then u can find ur IP - check tuts. sect. of xbox-scene.com
