Are there any tutorials around here for putting Halo 1 on my HD so I may mod?

No, there probably isn't, seeing as there's a button for it.
Assuming you have a modded xbox, it's pretty simple. What dash do you have? I have UnleashX, and all I have to do is go to the settings menu and click "Copy game disc."

Lawl.

I remember you modding Halo 2.. You do it the same way as you did with Halo 2. Copy the game onto your Xbox HDD under games\halo (or something like that) from the Halo CE disk. What dash are you using? UnleashX?

I figured it out. Now I have another problem..

Is it slower to FTP Halo 1 material back and forth than it is with Halo 2?

I wouldnt have thought it would be slower per say as the FTP rate should be the same but the map files may be bigger as the only external source maps are bitmaps sounds and LOD.

Actually, Halo1 maps tend to be smaller in size compared to Halo2. So when you compress them and send them back to your xbox it shouldn't take nearly as long. But whoever said it earlier is right. You rip the game to your hdd the same way you would go about doing Halo2. If you need more info let me know.
