I wouldnt have thought it would be slower per say as the FTP rate should be the same but the map files may be bigger as the only external source maps are bitmaps sounds and LOD.xXxCocoFangxXx wrote:I figured it out. Now I have another problem..
Is it slower to FTP Halo 1 material back and forth than it is with Halo 2?

Actually, Halo1 maps tend to be smaller in size compared to Halo2. So when you compress them and send them back to your xbox it shouldn't take nearly as long. But whoever said it earlier is right. You rip the game to your hdd the same way you would go about doing Halo2. If you need more info let me know.
