Modeling Problem

Hey, I have been forced to use the 30 day Milkshape 3D trial and i am having a hard time with the models,

everytime i try to import the new model it either says too many vertices, to many indices or too many subobjects, i know how do take care of the vertice/indice problem, but how can you get rid of the 18 subobjects that my frag grenade bomb looking model turns into to just 4 or lesser like it is supposed to have

is there any links for these?
A grenade launcher fp and third person model made out of the rocket launcher
A "bomb" model made out of the frag grenade
An Uzi, Tec9 or Mac10 model (fp and third person) made out of the pistol
or a Ak47/78, M16, M4, or STG44 model made out of the assualt rifle?

or are there any tutorials for this? thanks :)

Try [ZMT] L33T's model pack. There's bound to be some of the models you mentioned in there.
