Forcing Splitscreen when playing Fullscreen (HALO 1)

would it be possible to "force" splitscreen when playing with one remote.

exampl- when you join a game on xbc or xlink kai, by yourself.

the reason i ask is because its alot easier to aim, and easier to deal with lag, it also helps me when im preparing to LAN.

Im a total newb, but iwas thinking somethink like the 3rd person FOV hack(or is that only for CE?)
