HDD help!

does any1 kno how to unlock/lock an xbox HDD? i accidentally erased my MS Dash so i bought a new motherboard,doughterboard, and HDD and installed them. i need to lock/unlock my old hard disk so i can use it with my new motherboard. if u don't need to do this plz let me know. and if so how do u do it? thnx

1. I wouldnt advise yelling at a moderator whos technically doing what hes supposed too be doing by telling you to remove your avatar so its within guidlines.
