softmodding

i need help! i'm thinkin' about softmodding my xbox. i'll say how i'm gonna do it and then i need some questions answered. i'm gonna download a softmod installer from www.codejunkies.com and use action replay 2 put it on my xbox. i'm gonna use Evox. now 4 da questions.

1.can u go back 2 ur regular unmodded xbox after u install (take Evox completly off)
2.how do u use Evox? (w/dot halo)
3. how do u get/make modz?
4. will this mess up my xbox?
5. will this cost me anything?

sry 4 all that but i'm a complete noob 2 modding. thnx 4 ur help. much appreciated!
