Y do yall still play halo 1? Mah, in my opinion it is obsolete compared to ahlo 2 and not as fun to mod.JMHO though

idk. i just think halo 1 is old now and am suprised to see anyone still posting in it. no im not trying to flam though, i was just stating my opinion.

Yeah, Halo 2 DID let a lot of people down, so some stay with the first one. Besides, who cares.

Halo1 is still fun. At least it is everytime I play it. It's not liek the 2 are the same game. They have different weapons and different maps. Not much can beat a good game od derelict ctf no shields pistols imo. In fact I am working right now on getting timberland over to xbox so others can share in some good ole LAN fun.

Halo 1 is made for gamers who stay with the game and know it inside and out, backwards and forwards. i bet if you ask ANY halo 1 player to write a script of halo they could do so FLAWLESSLY.

Halo 2 (or as most, like myself, know it as Halo 1.5) is made for those gamers who basically beat the game and move on. I'm not saying that is how all Halo 2 players are but that's what it is. Either that or it's a bridge to Halo 3 on Xbox 2.

But overall Halo 1 and 2 have their pros and cons.

Multiplayer: Halo 1 > Halo 2
Single Player: Halo 2 > Halo 1
Graphics: Halo 2 (duh)
Playability: I'd have to go with old school on this one Halo 1

Admittingly, I haven't played Halo 2 as much as I've wanted to (2 lan parties and a 2 hour double block of class day before christmas break) but I know the game.
