FTPing to Xbox

Is it possible to FTP to your Xbox to transfer files to the Xbox HD without a modchip? I can set all of the stuff I need to do it, I just need to know if it's possible before I attempt it. I am trying to put the Xbox Media Center on my Xbox so I can watch AVI movies on my Xbox.

i dont know much about ftl with out a mod chip, so i would suggest maybe looking into softmodding if u really want to

its called a softmod which is either buying action replay or butchering your xbox wire and an usb cable to hook up your xbox to pc and transfer a save game, run the save game and you got a ftp server

there is actually someone who typed a tutorial on this on the forums
