ok guys,
i just got my aladdin live mod chip in the mail today. on their website they only show you how to install the headers and DO wire cennection. do i have to install the othhers or just do? i looked at one of there pictures on how to intall the others but the onw that is for xbox v1 is a diffrent setup. it anyone knows where i can get a tutorial on how to install it that would be great.

lots of good modchip instalation tutorials on www.xbox-scene.com go there and you will most likely find your answer.
A couple of months ago I was one of the people looking on all the tuts there ,now I can install a modchip and larger HDD in like 20 minutes. I've modded all my friend's Xboxes, and I have sold one to a friend of my dad's, jewel light and all.
Most modchips just require soldering the pin header and d0, unless it is version 1.5 or 1.6. If it is 1.5 then you might need to reconnect the ground and +5v to the LPC if the chip uses 5v, if it is version 1.6 then you are totally screwed, they are much harder to mod because you need to reconnect all the LPC lines, plus you need EvoX m8 bios.
