Soft Modding Help Needed

Im a new modder, (less than 1 day! yoiks) andi have a few questions about the soft modding system.

Can I somehow wipe my Xbox after i have modded it? I want to use Xbox live again, (H2!!!) and i want to know if the mods will somehow scar my xbox.

Heres my plan of attack.

I would greatly appreciate all info and suggestions.

1. Use Action replay and download the Nfl Fever 2004 Game save exploit..

Not sure exactly where i can get that.

2. Using Flash FXP ftp into xbox and download the Ultimate dashboard Exploit

3. Ftp either Evox or Linux, which one is better?

4. Figure it out from there.

(This is where is starts to get fuzzy for me. I know how i can change maps using ppf-o-matic, but i hear a lot about NMP v1.1 and not quite sure wat that does.)

Well, I think you can just remove the files/rename them to "unmod" the box, although im not too sure about that... The safest thing is to Buy another xbox.. use that one for live, if thats too pricey, get a chip with a switch... Still, no guarantees.

The "usual places" some simple searching on google or www.xbox-scene.com will lead you too them without too much difficulty

I would think Evox... Running actual linux on the box won't let you play games (I don't think)
I use avalaunch... I think its better than Evox, but its up to you, Id recommend, EvoX avalaunch or unleashX

i like evox. but i really don't think it matters, just don't get linux

NMP is the new map project, by Ultrmagnus and crew - they have a new UI and a patched xbe and then 12 "new" maps . You can get the info on how to install and download it from there forum in the files forum.
