Problem with model injection. Error shown...please help

Post by fezzman »

This is my first attempt at extracting/injecting. What I want to do is extract the glass from my Hostile Takeover map and inject it back in over another unused piece of scenery (perhaps the shaftring). This way I'll have two glass panels and I can skin one a different color.

When I go to extract raw models and try to load my saved raw model offset list I get an error. It says it is an exception error. Here are the error details:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Does anybody know why I am getting this?

Afaik that function in HMT is not meant to work for Xbox maps, thus the error.
I would highly recommend using Xinject for this project.
