What would be cool is if there was a map that you can play multiplayer on as Elites.

PS: Don't mind my BS, I'm a mapper and modeler, not a hex editor.

Well, if it was on the Xbox version, there's a cheat on the trainer called "Bump Character" that lets you posses Marines, Covenant, and Flood. If it was from the PC version, all you have to do is change the Cyborg Biped to the Elite Special Biped (if you change it to the regular Elite Biped it won't work... it has to be Elite Special).

well i would think it would be in the Hex editing but i have looked through offsets, etc and i havent been able to find the elite at all anywhere in the file, only blood splatter graphics, etc

It's in every level an Elite is in...

ok all ill give an example on aotcr(assualt on the control room) change value B4686040 to 4C18F140.ONLY DO THIS after u have reavched a checkpoint,save then exit,modify then load.The u will be an elite(ps the covies will still attack u) if u do this latrer on in the the lvl u can drive a wraith

If you want to know whats really cool, The Super Tall Grunt Man is where it's at. . If you change some hex around dealing with bipd and actv, you can make Master Chief into a grunt, sounds and all, except for camera view. I can't go into much detail right now, as class is about to end (at school) but I can say that to fix the camera height, look around in MC's metadata, and do some byte swapping. Good Luck

every time i change the hex values to the special elite the game goes all screwy and i cant move, and taking out a new weapon makes the game crash

I hvae to say, Playing as an Elite sucks, you can't move that fast, cant crouch and when he is walking forward you cant make him walk left, or right. My opinion is don't play as an elite! Expecialy in the 1st mission, "Pillar of Autom." Well that was just a warning and if you actualy are reading on, all you have to do is DOwnload Iron Forges list of Offsets and click "Biped" you will see Cyborg, Which that is Master Chief, look at the off set, and open your Hex Editor Program, open the Single Player maps you want to do it in, then go to the off set (Normaly Ctrl+G) Paste (Ctrl+V) the offset in there, then lok for the elite you want to play, look at his value, write down or memorize it, then type it in place for master chief. LOL

hey i got a question if u used hmt to extract all teh elite files and then rebuilt a mp map with them in it and then swaped them all for mc files would it work???

LOL!!!!!!! I just tried that, I tried it with blood guclh, i think I did something rong because it posted an elite in the sky all streched out from one part of the map to the other LOL!

hey better then mine i just got it closed down with the stupid friggin execption data crap i just think it would be cool to make a mc vs elite team slay thing kinda like in halo 2 how thats gona be
