hello i am starting to program in c and would like to know where to start what editor would you recommend where can i find a good tut

Are you doing this for college or do you have a book? If not, I would recommend you start with C# or java. The MSDN is a great resource for beginning C# programming. Or just google "learn C#"

Starting with C is a bad idea, you should introduce yourself to programming with an easier language such as VB or C#
Also, don't expect to learn quickly, learning to program anything worth while to a decent standard takes a long time (many months to years)
