My atempts at modding the demo

So i just started last night, but i have general knowledge of skinning and modding and whatnot, since ive done it for a few other games (Allied Assault mostly.) I downloaded the demo a few days ago, and while looking for stuff about the full version, i came across hackhalo.com, but now im here...ok.. on to what my problem is.

I know that the offsets for the demo arent around, so ive been trying to do somethings myself, and id like to know if im doing them right or not, or what i might be doing wrong.

First off, i just want to start simple like having the warthog fire rockets(read thr tutorial here) So i went to find, to find a text string. I searched for "rocket" and i found all these things determining what happens when a rocket hits dirt, or water etc. But i can't seem to find what to replace with what. I need to replace the rocket projectile right? i cant find that or the warthog projectile. Any help to what i should look for or something like that? because ive replaced the scorpion something with the assault rifle something, and it seems like nothing is different (although my assault rifle blows smoke out of the barrel when I fire, but i think thats normal)

HMT 3.0 handles demo maps fine (either that, or the hand of God acted upon my swaping the banshee with the C-turret  ).

i dont mean to be harsh, but u suck. first of all, there is an offset list for the demo, and second of all, u swap the projectile offsets. pm me if you want to know the location of the offset list. but any serious modder would know where they are.
