ok ive gotten bored with the programs avlable to mod halo pc so id like to make my own that can do all the stuff of hmt v3.5 and has the map editor of spark edit the latest one so can any one take me under thier wing so to speak and teach me how to program stuff.
also i think i would need the source code of spark edit wont i so does any one have a copy or know where i can get that as well as hmt 3.5 code as well cos id realy like to make an new program to do all the stuff of hmt and spark edit thanx.
i want to learn how to program but need help!

hmmm well im a good programmer but ive never tried to make modding tools. programming is very complicated. and not to be mean or flame, but no body will give u the source for spark edit or hmt. sorry 
but if u wanna at least, id reccomend checking microsoft.com, get the visual studio beta, get the Directx SDK and get to work making a 3d view. id use direct draw. try searching google for help and asking experienced modders who can tell u how to have ur app load a halo map with all the scenery and stuff. i have no clue how to so sorry
