halo program

im working on sum kind of halomoding sidekick program thingy, and itll have tuts, my own version of haloded and sum other stuff but i need ideas for sum more features i can add to it, also i want it to make it so when u click a button Not and OLE itll open up hmt or hht or sumthing but i ha ve 2 problems wit that, 1. i dont no how to make a cmd button open up a program on vb5 and 2. every1 has hmt and stuff in a different location on there computer, is there sum way to get around that or could i put it in the rar file and have it open it up from there or sumthing? plzz help me.
and i also need ideas for stuff to add to it so its actually useful
