Need help with textures for map

Is it possible to get textures from counter strike maps and use them for halo. Im remaking one of the levels and i am not very good with textures. If i cant get it from the game, could some1 please make them for me. I dont think there that hard and i would give u all the credit.

i doubt u cud..plus that wud be violating some kinda law since its the CS textures

definitely, but i will be on vacation for about 1 1/2-2 weeks, so i will try and post here or pm or sumtin when i get back, btw, i will need a pic of the textures.

its a non profit project so as far as i know you can use the CS textures as long as you credit the makers.

That doesn't mean you can use the textures. Its not an open-source project. They haven't licensed any of their code/resources under any public licenses as far as I know.

ya, right now i am @ my grandma & grandpa's house & on their pc checkin everything out, makin sure armageddon doesn't break loose, the usual stuff, i will be on vacation for about another week, give or take a day or two depending on the weather.
(btw, their pc is an old win 98 1 w/ 64 megs of ram, a pentium 2, and an old dial-up connection w/ one phone line, so i won't exactly be chatting)

ok well then how do i use the textures from counter strike, i think the file type is .wad
