Ok, i saw the news thing and that got me thinking about duel weilding weaps..

If we can inject new models we've created, why not just duplicate one gun, move it to the left a bit and give a left arm to it, THEN inject it..?

Then we mod it a bit and make it shoot 2 bullets per shot, that way it will act like duel weaps...

Just an idea.. any way this could work?

ya i've thought of that...i suck at modelling tho so i wudnt be able to do it

Couldn't they just duplicate the current right arm and right-hand FP models and then put a seocnd one on the left?

actually, its VERY simple. From looking at tuts, learning it, it would be like this: u make a box where primary fire comes, so just put another box on the other gun and call it secondary fire. Well... it should work

Wouldn't that mean left click would shoot the gun in left hand (for example) and right click would shoot the gun in your right hand?

I meant like you click and both guns shoot at the same time.

I've never seen this done before so i was assuming there must be something that doesn't work when you do it, i mean if its this simple somebody must have already tried it, no?


By the way, i don't know much about editing models for maps, but can you save the animation of the gun shooting with hmt or something (the kickback i mean)? If so, you could open it in 3ds or whatever, duplicate it and then flip the animation and you'd have a sweet dual wielding guy with animation and damaging bullets in both hands.

Now all we'ed need is to find a way to make the visible shot (if its something like ar... where you can see the bullets fly) come out of both ends of the gun, not just one...
