Two questions, please help....

Hey, im having some problems, I cant make water in any of my maps, I followed the tutorial on the WIKI to the letter and for some reason it just wont comile in tool, and just so you know it is a seperate object, it is linked to the frame, and it has the shader symbol "!" and i even copied the shader from death island then renamed it to fit my textures to make sure it was perfect. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appriciated, thanks.

Now for question #2, How do you make collison models for your models? Like for new scenery and stuff. Cause whenever i initiate the command in tool to build collison geometry is always has an error, is there something your supposed to do in 3DS Max? I follwed that vid tut, and it still had some issues.

Ok i got the collision model problem fixed, simple error, but I still need to know about water.

ok what exactly happens in tool, and try not renaming the shaders ect, try leaving them as they are.

Open edges usually and/or degenerate triangles

This only happens when water is added, for me anyway.
