Quick question about 3dsmax geometry

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Grab Alcohol 120% and ISO your halo cd then mount it on a virtual drive.
No cd. No cd-less patches. Just Halo.

Quick question about 3dsmax geometry

Will a map compile correctly if an object is "inside" another part of the mesh? This would be ideal if it would because this makes a perfectly smooth ramp flawlessly even with the ground.

NO.

You can't just stick one object through another. Its looks OK from the top but its not really OK

You would have attach your ramp to the level just like you would a base. Once you start doing it it gets easier.

Ok I made it into a legit ramp and attached and welded the ramps vertices to the map itself. When I was recreating the polygons it kind of came out a mess. What the hell happened?
