that bottom pic looks hazy, just like mars

i like it, but as you might know mars isn't red at all, it seems red because of the atmosphere and sky, but the ground is like on earth, nasa photoshopped the photos from mars and put a red tint over it.
but i like anyways, nice modeling hope you don;t get to much tool error i always do

WTF R U TALKING ABOUT FOOL? Mars is red! Its red cuz it is covered in rust!

a) hes right it is the atmosphere that makes it red.
b)that ground texture needs ALOT of desaturating.

im making mars the color i wanna make mars OK!
i did change the color abit, its more of a orangy brown color. At the moment, i think i am done with the geometry.
I am trying to understand portals(need some help please, if anyone knows how)
Skinning the whole map(need some help with bump mapping the ground)
Going to Populate Soon.
Added a Cluster Grenade Launcher(thanks to the Chain Spawning Tutorial)
I am trying to add my seat mod in by hacking the Warthog like good old times.

DUDE!!!! you should make this HUGE SPHERE! Then texture it and put some mountains and junk and put a lot of gravity, so u cant fall off of it, that would be awesome, and mars isnt really red, its kinda orange. but it doesnt look like earth
