when I try to export my maps in 3ds max 6, it doesn't give me JMS as an option. Is there a way to fix this, or can I use another file extension?

You will have to get the Blitzkrieg plugin for 3dsMax6.

blitzkreig came with my HEK, but when i try to copy the 4 .dll files over to windows\system32, it says i can't do this because the files are already in use from another program. I've tried closing everything down on my comp and this still happens. Does anyone know how to fix it? Once it does work, how does it apply to Max? Does it just gave you JMS as an export option?

Thats odd. When I copied the files over I didn't have a problem. Reboot and don't run any programs before you try. If that doesn't work you could try rebooting into safe mode.

Once the plugin is installed its an option in the export file type dropdown box. There is a Blitzkrieg Model and a Blitzkrieg Animation exporter.

edit:

If im not mistaken, the Blitzkrieg that comes with HEK is for 3dsMax5. Make sure you have the right version.

ya... Blitzkrieg is in a file marked 3ds max 5. Is it possible to work in max 6? That would be just peachy. if not, what can i do? can sapien/guerilla/tool read any other file other than jms?

get it over here http://halo.joypadjunkies.com/page.php?id=2

and also with you not being able to move the dll files ...

It sounds as if you have max running at the time and that some of the files are allready there and dont need replacing
