Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

WIP Mp5k

Post by Katarn »

This is my second model as many of you probably already know because of this thread http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopi ... &start=100 and i've worked on this model for a very short time. It isn't good as of yet because of a lack of pictures that i can use as a reference. These are preliminary renders:

I have no idea what the barrel is supposed to look like so dont repremand me on it. I haven't added a lot of the major details to the model yet but it maintains a light 843 polygons. Expect it to look a lot better in the near future. Just post me some mp5k pics! Anyway, this does not mean i have haulted progress on my ak 47. Recently i have achieved fp model with the ak47. I will post pics of it today.

hey Katarn,
just to let you know, when you're going to use boolean like you did on the handle, you should copy one and use it for all of them then attach them all, since yours are all different sizes ;)

Well I probably could model really well if I had 3ds or some other real good program, but all I have is an expired Milkshape. Damn.

I actually did skin a really low poly version of it but i didnt finish. Not like i would anyway, considering that model was crap (it was before i added details to modeling i wanted too se what it would look like with a skin on it)
